The DGR 1404/2020 contribution made it possible to build an artificial intelligence solution addressing the online sale of counterfeit goods: a problem that matters across every sector of Italian manufacturing, from food and agriculture to fashion. The solution works primarily on e-commerce sites, searching and analysing listed products to determine whether any of them are counterfeits of the products made by the companies adopting the tool.
